A nanny is a professional, qualified and/or experienced child carer. They are responsible for the care and development of your children and are employed either on a live-in basis or as a live-out daily nanny, full or part-time Their responsibilities can include the following:
* Work with the parents regarding maintaining and enhancing the routine of the children.
* Provide safe, stimulating and developmental activities for your children to learn and have fun.
* Plan and cook nutritional balanced meals.
* Carry out domestic chores connected with the children e.g. keep the nursery, bedrooms clean and tidy, children's washing and ironing.
Nanny/Housekeepers are generally employed where children are of school age and would undertake the tasks above along with general household duties.
