1.Wentworth Nannies (Company) acts as an employment agency introducing applicants to client employers for direct employment by clients as nannies, babysitters and maternity nurses. The company is not an employment business and does not directly or indirectly employ applicants. Unless the applicant is registered as self-employed, candidates are introduced to the client on the understanding that they will be employed by the client and that they comply with Employment Regulations of the hiring country.
2.These terms constitute the contract between Wentworth Nannies and the Client and are non-negotiable.
3.The Company must be informed immediately by the Client that its offer of a position to the Applicant has been accepted. At this point an invoice appropriate to the services provided will be raised. (See schedule, fee structure)
4.Invoices to be paid within 14 days of the invoice date. Failure to do so will result in a surcharge of 10%.
5.Fees invoiced by the Company are for one engagement only. If an applicant is re-employed by the Client at anytime in the future, the Client undertakes to inform the Company immediately and pay the appropriate fee.
6.In the case of overseas clients, payment must be received in advance of the Applicant starting employment.
7.Should the engagement be cancelled by the Client following an offer being made, 25% of the full fee will be payable by the Client.
8.Should the Applicant fail to start employment following an offer being accepted a full refund will be given on any invoice paid.
9.If an applicant works for a client in a temporary position that then becomes permanent, the Client must inform the Company immediately. An additional fee may be applicable.
10.In the unlikely event that a permanent applicant leaves during the first 10 weeks of the engagement a refund of the introduction fee will be paid. Refunds should be claimed by the Client in writing within five days of the termination of employment. (See schedule, Refunds)
11.Applicants details supplied to Clients are confidential. Details must not be passed onto any third party. Should the disclosure of such information result in and engagement by a third party the client will be liable for full payment of the Company's introduction fee.
12.Reasonable travelling expenses incurred by the Applicant to attend interview will be reimbursed by the Client.
13.In order for the Company to comply with its obligations to the Client, the Client agrees to provide the following necessary information prior to an introduction:
- Date on which the clients requires the applicant to start work
- The end date if the position is temporary
- Location of work
- Hours
- Any risks to health and safety know to the client and steps taken to prevent or control such risks
- Experience, training, qualifications and any authorisation which the client considers are necessary
- Salary and the intervals at which the applicant would be paid
- Benefits provided
- Expenses payable
- Length of notice an applicant would be required to give and entitled to receive to end the employment with the client.
14.A placement is considered as permanent if the duration is for 12 weeks and above.
15.The Company endeavours to search and establish suitability of the Applicants for introduction to the Client. The Company does not accept under any circumstances, and excludes liability for any loss, damage, expenses or delay incurred, or suffering by the Client, the Clients family, the Clients staff of the Clients assets, allegedly arising from the acts, omission or character of the Applicants introduction by the Company or, to the extent permitted by law, in the respect of services provided by the Company.
Fee Structure
Nanny , Nanny/Housekeeper
- Full time positions (30 hours and over per week) will be charged at four weeks of the annual gross salary.
- Part-time positions (under 30 hours) will be calculated on four weeks of an average annual gross salary based on the average hours expected to be worked.
- Temporary positions (under 12 weeks) will be charged at £15 per day/£60 per week.
- Salary dependant on experience, hours etc.
Babysitting
- Charged at a £15 one-off booking fee or £80 per year to include three referrals of babysitters within the twelve month period.
- Babysitting rates are between £7 and £8 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours. Time and half after midnight and on public holidays.
Maternity Nurses
- Charged at £20 per day/ £90 per week.
- Cost of Maternity Nurse will depend on service selected.
Emergency Placements
- Charged at £30 per day.
- Cost as per babysitter.
